Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 17 May 2026
1. Our compliance commitment
TrendVault complies with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) CAP Code regarding the disclosure of commercial relationships. This page exists to make our commercial relationships clear, conspicuous and easy to understand.
2. What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special tracking URL that identifies us as the referrer of a customer to a retailer. If you click such a link and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a commission — usually a small percentage of the sale price. The price you pay is identical whether you use our link or visit the retailer directly.
3. How we identify affiliate links
- Each affiliate link on TrendVault carries a visible AD badge next to it.
- Affiliate links use the
rel="nofollow sponsored noopener noreferrer"attribute as recommended by Google. - Where an entire page or post is sponsored or contains predominantly affiliate links, a banner disclosure appears at the top.
4. Affiliate programmes we participate in
- Amazon Associates Programme — Amazon US, UK and EU storefronts. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
- ShareASale, Impact, CJ Affiliate, Awin, Rakuten — through these networks we may have partnerships with various ecommerce brands.
- Direct affiliate partnerships with individual ecommerce platforms and tool providers from time to time.
5. Editorial independence
We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage. Products are selected for inclusion based on objective signals — engagement metrics, growth velocity, audience interest — not on whether an affiliate programme exists. If we feature a product where no affiliate programme is available, we still feature it.
If a piece of content is paid or sponsored beyond standard affiliate links (for example, a dedicated review commissioned by a brand) it will be clearly labelled as such at the top of that content.
6. Amazon Associates required statement
TrendVault is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. TrendVault also participates in the Amazon EU Associates Programme.
